FAQs About What to Expect Results & Transformation
Recovery coaching is a future‑focused partnership that helps you build a life you don’t want to escape from. As a recovery coach, I don’t diagnose, prescribe, or provide clinical therapy—I walk alongside you to help you set goals, build healthy rhythms, and stay accountable as you move forward in your recovery.

Unlike rehab, which is often a short‑term, intensive program focused on getting you physically sober and stabilized, recovery coaching picks up in the day‑to‑day life after those steps. And unlike therapy, which often explores your past or treats mental health conditions, recovery coaching is about practical action in the present: building healthy community, nurturing your spiritual life, improving your physical health, and finding tools that help you live free.

Think of me as an encourager, an accountability partner, and a guide—helping you identify lies you’ve believed about yourself, replace them with truth, and stay committed to the vision you have for your life.
Yes—my recovery coaching is faith‑based and centered on Jesus. I believe true freedom comes when we invite God into every part of our recovery. In our sessions, we don’t just talk about habits and goals—we also look at what God says about you, pray through challenges, and invite the Holy Spirit to guide your steps.

As 2 Corinthians 3:17 says, “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” My heart is to help you walk in that freedom—building healthy community, caring for your body, and living from the identity He’s given you.
I deeply respect 12‑Step programs—they’ve helped countless people find sobriety and support. My approach isn’t meant to replace them but to complement them.

In a 12‑Step program, you follow a set structure within a group setting. Recovery coaching is different because it’s a one‑on‑one partnership. I walk with you personally, helping you build healthy community, deepen your spiritual life, care for your body, and replace lies with God’s truth about who you are.

Many people actually do both—a 12‑Step group for ongoing fellowship and recovery coaching for customized, faith‑based support and accountability. Together, they can work beautifully to help you live in the freedom Jesus has already given you.
Each session is a one‑hour conversation designed to help you take practical, Spirit‑led steps forward in your recovery. We meet weekly (usually for a three‑month season to start), either in person or online.

You can expect a safe, judgment‑free space where we pray together, talk through what’s working and what’s challenging, and set clear goals for the week ahead. We’ll look at areas like building healthy relationships, strengthening your spiritual life, and caring for your physical health.

I’ll encourage you, hold you accountable, and help you identify any lies you’ve believed so you can replace them with God’s truth. My goal is that you leave each session feeling supported, focused, and reminded of who you are in Christ.
We usually meet once a week for one-hour sessions. Meeting weekly helps you build momentum and stay focused on your recovery goals.

Most people begin with a commitment of about three months to establish healthy habits and make lasting progress. After three months there will be an assessment of where you are at and if you need weekly, bi-weekly or monthly sessions. Or better yet, be released. Sessions can be held in person or online, depending on what works best for you.
No-but I am in the process of getting license with Partnership of Medi-Cal.
You don’t have to be local to Redding or Northern California to work with me. I offer coaching sessions online, so you can meet with me from anywhere you feel comfortable.

Whether you’re nearby or across the country, I’m here to support you on your recovery journey—wherever you are.
I started drinking heavily when I was 19 after moving out of my parents’ house. It was my way of self-medicating, trying to numb feelings I didn’t understand. By 21, I switched from alcohol to weed, which eventually led me down a path of using psychedelics and cocaine. Over time, I became addicted to both cocaine and marijuana. I even justified my cocaine use by telling myself it was because I didn’t have easy access to psychedelics.

During that time, I was also diagnosed with mental health challenges like bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. I faced some really dark seasons—being hospitalized multiple times due to suicidal thoughts. I hit rock bottom and in 2018, I moved back in with my parents. Their home became my recovery house, a safe place to start rebuilding.

But everything changed in 2019 when I had a real encounter with Jesus. That moment shifted my heart from simply being sober to being holy. Since then, I have been healed and delivered from all those symptoms and no longer take medication for mental illness. I began to understand 2 Corinthians 5:17: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” That truth gave me hope and freedom I never thought possible.

Now, my passion is to walk alongside others on their own journeys, helping them see that healing and transformation are possible—not just in recovery, but in identity and purpose through Christ. No matter where you are, God’s love can reach you and set you free.
While I’m not specifically certified as a recovery coach, I am a certified Spirit-Led coach. This means I’m trained to guide people through transformation by partnering with the Holy Spirit. My coaching focuses on helping you hear God’s voice, walk in freedom, and live out your true identity in Christ.

My personal experience with addiction and recovery, combined with Spirit-led coaching training, equips me to walk alongside you with empathy, wisdom, and faith.
I believe that a slip or using once or twice doesn’t have to be labeled as a full relapse. What matters most is how you respond to those moments. If those instances are hidden and lead to a cycle of use, then that can become a relapse.

I handle relapses and setbacks on a case-by-case basis because recovery isn’t about perfection—it’s about transformation. I don’t believe someone should be dismissed from coaching if they truly want freedom and are committed to change. My role is to walk with you through the ups and downs, helping you stay focused on the long-term journey God has for you.

That said, if at any point your needs require more intensive support or a different level of care, I may refer you to other professionals or programs that can best support your healing.

We understand the importance of approaching each work integrally and believe in the power of simple.
